There will be a pep rally on 3/2/23 at 12:45 pm in the Purple gym for the Girls basketball team in preparation of their SoDak 16 game vs Jones County 6 pm @ Chamberlain Armory. The public is welcome to attend. Good Morning: On Thursday, March 2nd the district will be having a 2pm early dismissal. The girls basketball team will be competing in the SoDak 16 basketball game. They will play at 6pm at Chamberlain High School. To allow safe travel time for students, parents, and teachers the district will dismiss at 2pm.

UPDATE !! Game will be on tornadoes liveticket tv. Just click on the featured game at the bottom of the page. It will be on Scotland's system so will look different. Great thing is it will be free!! We hope you can come cheer the girls on. This is an option if you can't. 2/25/23 Game Day!! GBB will travel to take on Freeman @ Irene 7 pm tip off. Winner advances to SoDak 16. Livestream on NFHS system on Irene-Wakonda school homepage. There is a charge to it. I am working with Scotland to try and use liveticket tv on YouTube for no charge. I will update with more information if it works.
Reminder Pops Concert tonight. The meal will start at 6:15 pm to allow the Concert to start at 7 pm.
The district is seeking a part-time paraprofessional for the remainder of this school year and beyond. The paraprofessional works 5 hours per day in classrooms with small groups of students. We will have a 10am start tomorrow, Friday, February 24th. This will allow for additional time for roads, driveways, and sidewalks to be cleared. Busses will run where possible.
