The Centerville School District will be holding our Child Development Fair on Thursday, April 29th. The screenings are open to any child 3-5 years old not currently enrolled in a Centerville School program. Please call 605-563-2291 to schedule an appointment.

Please congratulate the FFA students tomorrow on their hard work at our first Spring CDE contest! Alyssa Brandsrud placed 3rd in Floriculture and their team placed 3rd out of 21 chapters. The floriculture team consists of Alyssa Brandsrud, Addyson Brandsrud, Charleigh Walters and Ruby Kirk. Lane Johnson placed 8th in Natural Resources and their team placed 6th out of 21 chapters. The natural resources team consists of Lane Johnson, Lane Hansen, Shane Rist and Denver Anderson. Monday, March 15th the FFA will be competing in Howard.

Football schedule released for next school year. Our first game will be August 27, 2021. Once official dates and times are figured out they will be updated on the calendar.

3/4/21: We are honored to be selected to host our first ever SoDak 16 contest. 7 pm tonight Viborg-Hurley vs Andes Central Dakota Christian. The game will be open attendance with masks required. Each month the NHS students choose two staff members, one from the elementary level and one from the secondary level, of the Centerville School District for "Educator of the Month," for the previous month. Educators are chosen for their commitment to scholarship, leadership, service, and character. Attached is a picture NHS members Lane Johnson, Sophie Eide, Mya Bendt, Bailey Hansen, and Gracie Bjordal presenting the certificates to Mrs. Sandi King and Mr. Tate DeJong. (not pictured: Haley Meyer, Jaelynn Buckneberg, and Alyssa Brandsrud) Congratulations to both for being chosen by the NHS to be February's Educators of the Month! We appreciate all the time, effort, and contributions that they have made to the Centerville School District.
